A close up view of a confrontation between two hummingbirds above the feeder in my back yard. I have cropped the feeder out in this image so that only the hummingbirds can be seen. Because of the crop factor, this image is only available up to a 30" size...but, the detail in the hummingbirds is just beautiful against the pretty bokeh created by the muted colors in the background. Just check out the tiny pair of feet that can be seen in great detail on the green hummingbird!

I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
