TEJON PASS POPPY PANORAMA by Lynn Bauer - A panoramic image of bright orange California poppies covering the mountain tops of the Tejon Pass in Lebec, California. This area is at the top of California's Grapevine which connects Southern California to the San Joaquin Valley of Central California. Springtime has brought incredible color to the scene as vibrant wildflowers splash across the landscape. In addition to the orange poppies, there are purple flowers (probably lupine or phacelia) and bright yellow goldfields. These mountains are part of the Tehachapi Range and the Tejon Ranch Conservancy.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
