STANDOUT WILDFLOWERS OF THE SPRING BLOOM IN WALKER CANYON by Lynn Bauer - Walker Canyon is just beginning it's spring bloom for 2019. Many believe that this will be another year of the "Superbloom." We'll see what happens...but, it seems to be off to a good start! I found this pretty single poppy to be a stand-out against the pink flowers behind it...and, the pinks were real stand-outs, themselves, as there weren't many of them blooming, yet. It was a beautiful day for a hike in the hills of Lake Elsinore, CA.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
