SPRING’S DANCE by Lynn Bauer - The spring season in the Texas Hill Country seems to be a dance of perpetual flowers. One color will cover the landscape, as another joins in the dance. Eventually the first color fades into the background, as others claim their place in the ever-changing rythm of beauty! At this point, most of the bluebonnets have left, but the red indian blankets and pretty yellow flowers (possibly brown bitterweed) have taken center stage. Other flowers dotted throughout are white daisies, purple horsemint, and red indian paintbrush, to name a few.
