SHARED DELIGHT by Lynn Bauer - It is always a joy to be able to capture a hummingbird while they enjoy a meal, but it is doubly delightful to be able to catch two of them sharing! It is not often that hummingbirds cooperate with each other. Usually they will just poke at one to get them to leave! In this case, these two beauties (I believe they are a male and female Anna's hummingbird) decided to share their meal...which was a delight for me! They are feasting at the pretty orange flowers of a cape honeysuckle plant in a back yard garden in Southern California.
