Beautifully lit clouds reflect the colors of the sun just after it's setting at Pt. Hueneme Beach in Southern California. Waves gently wash across the shore, as the sunset announces the close to this gorgeous day.
Port Hueneme is a lovely little town on California's west coast, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is located about half-way between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, near the town of Ventura. It is a wonderful place to catch a sunrise or sunset, or to just have fun walking the long pier or playing in the sand.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
