MCGEE CREEK WILDFLOWERS by Lynn Bauer - As winter gives way to spring (well, actually to summer!) beautiful wildflowers appear at the entrance to McGee Creek in the High Sierra of Calfironia, USA. Bright pops of red indian paintbrush are very eye-catching, and hints of the late-fallen snow can still be seen at the higher levers. The changing of the seasons can be very beautiful in California's High Sierra mountains!
This area is part of the Inyo National Forest, as well as the John Muir Wilderness area. There are many wonderful areas for hiking, back packing, fishing, and of course, every winter sport imaginable!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
