HEAVEN’S LIGHT ON THE LOOP by Lynn Bauer - What Loop, you might ask… Well. the Willow City Loop in the Texas Hill Country near Fredericksburg! It is one of the most iconic places to view wildflowers during the spring. This year much of the state is on “stay at home” orders due to the Coronavirus…but, I happened to make this drive a day, or two, before the orders hit our area. So, I truly did feel that I had been blessed by heaven to have a chance to make the drive that I had so been looking forward since moving to Texas last summer! (I’ve made the drive before…but, as an out-of-state guest. Now, thankfully, Texas is “home!”)
I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
