GOLDEN DREAM ALONG BISHOP CREEK by Lynn Bauer - This was a jaw-dropping view across Bishop Creek on the road to North Lake on a gorgeous fall day. The setting sun was backlighting the pretty golden leaves of the aspen trees as interesting clouds floated across the blue sky. The gentle sound of the water was an added bonus. And, when I got home and took a close look at this image, I found that there was an owl high on his perch watching me in one of the aspen trees! I'm not sure it will be visible in a small print...but, it should become apparent in larger size prints! Now...that was a real dream for me, as I've never seen an owl in the wild!
I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
