A lovely morning scene as the sun rises enough to light up the fall colors cascading down the mountainside to the road below. The colors were just stunning in this area near Asheville, North Carolina, in the rural town of Leicester. Our trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway brought us to some spectacular scenery...and, this was one of our favorite places! Taken from the upper deck at the Wildberry Lodge Bed and Breakfast...a place we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!!
This peaceful country setting was aglow with the yellows, oranges, and reds of autumn's finest, and the early morning light provided the perfect touch to bedazzle the eyes!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
