BUDS by Lynn Bauer - Two very friendly donkeys greet me at at their fence in a small rural town in the Texas Hill Country. These two were just so adorable, and by the looks of it, they seem to be best friends, as well as well-loved pets. I was out shooting spring wildflowers, so I was thrilled to find them standing in lavender flowers...which I think are either lantana or verbena.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature.
