ALMOST HOME by Lynn Bauer - It's the end of the day and commuters are making their way home after a long week of work. The sun is setting over the Pacific Ocean, just on the other side of the Santa Monica Mountains, which can be seen in the distance. Beautiful colors fill the sky over Simi Valley, where these commuters live. The sky is gorgeous...but, I bet all they see now is the fact that they are almost home!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
