WILDFLOWER PATH ON THE WILLOW CITY LOOP by Lynn Bauer - Have you ever taken a drive in the country where you had to pull over to the side of the road because you thought you must have missed your turn and driven straight into heaven? I think that was how I felt when I rounded a curve on the Willow City Loop in the Texas Hill Country and encountered this scene!! It was a gorgeous spring day with bright blue skies and wispy white clouds. The temperature was perfect and there were wildflowers everywhere!! I couldn't resist getting out of the car and following this beautiful path! The fragrance here was amazing...I wish I could have captured that, as well!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
