THE WONDERS OF SPRING by Lynn Bauer is a scene of idyllic beauty in the foothills of Santa Barbara, California. This beautiful trail winds through a meadow of beautiful wildflowers in the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. This year the garden has begun a project to restore the area to it's original beauty of many years ago...and, it truly is stunning! The premier flower tends to be the beautiful state flower, the bright orange California poppy...but, many other native wildflowers join it to create a vibrant landscape of many colors in front of the lovely Santa Ynez Mountains.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019. These times have been beyond description, so I am thrilled to have many images to look back on! Also, for many years, the Texas Hill Country has been a...
