Beautiful Godbeams fill
the sky over the dock
at Lake Mamie during
an incredible summer
sunset.
Lake Mamie is
part of the Mammoth
Lakes area in the
High Sierra mountain
range in California.
Mammoth is known
for it's world-class
winter sports...but,
it is also a wonderful
family destination
in the summer.
There are six local
lakes that can be
driven to in about
five minutes time,
with another six lakes
that can be hiked in to.
The scenery in the
High Sierras is
something that fills
your heart with wonder
and awe at it's beauty!
As many times as I go
there...it still takes my
breath away every
time!
