FALL COLORS ALONG BISHOP CREEK by Lynn Bauer - Beautiful aspens in every stage of color bring their beauty to the banks of Bishop Creek along South Lake Road in the High Sierra mountains of California. One side of the creek seems to be barely turned from the greens of summer, while the opposite side is bedecked in yellows and orange. Pretty reflections shimmer on the water below as it cascades through the granite boulders. Life is good in the Sierra!
This area is off Highway 395 above Bishop, California, and is part of the Inyo National Forest.
