A pretty scene along the dirt road into Lundy Canyon. Large wooden wagon wheels mark the entrance to a group of cabins in the woods near Lundy Lake. The fall colors were glowing through the trees, providing a very pretty backdrop for the old wheels. This scene feels a bit like you've walked right into the past, as it may have been during the days the pioneers were discovering all the beauty of the California Sierra Nevada mountains!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
