Taken on the Bluebonnet Trail in Ennis, TX.
Ennis is a beautiful town that is located south of Dallas. It is a gorgeous area with sprawling homes on beautiful pieces of land that can be covered with bluebonnets in the spring. Ennis was named by their state legislature of the Official Bluebonnet City of Texas as well as having the Official Texas Bluebonnet Trail.
The Trail is actually a number of trails that the Ennis Garden Club faithfully notes, marks, and updates for the public. They keep up-to-date information on the best blooms and the best driving routes for people to find during the month of April. They also have a Bluebonnet Festival each year.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
