THE BLESSINGS OF RAIN by Lynn Bauer - I love looking for rainbows after a good rain. Here, I have both the blessing of the rainbow, as well as the blessing of the wildflowers that follow a good season of rain! This was one of the most prolific areas of diverse wildflowers that I have come across in Texas. This image should be viewed large to see the incredible amount of colorful wildflowers here! It was filled with red firewheels (also known as Indian blankets,) purple horsemint, yellow coreopsis, and many other flowers. What a gift to live in this beautiful land called, "The Texas Hill Country!"
