SUMMER SPLENDOR AT T J LAKE BY Lynn Bauer - A gorgeous view of TJ Lake in the High Sierra mountain range of California. TJ Lake is one of many lakes in the Mammoth Lakes area. The hiking trail to reach this lake is located at the far end of Lake George, and is called the TJ Barrett Trail. From this trail you can reach anumber of High Country lakes...TJ Lake and Barrett Lake being the closest. At one end of TJ Lake is a meadow area that fills with beautiful wildflowers during the summer. There is just nothing as spectacular as getting out into some of the more unexplored areas of God's beautiful creation!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
