SPRING BLOOM AT LEO CARRILLO STATE BEACH - BW by Lynn Bauer - A beautiful combination of land and sea as the spring bloom covers the cliffs at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Southern California. Giant yellow coreopsis fill the foreground, setting off a lifeguard station on the rocks beyond. The blue of the sky and the Pacific Ocean area beautiful with the yellow of the pretty flowers. This is pure Southern California beauty at it's best, presented in black and white.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
