POM POM FLOWER MACRO by Lynn Bauer - This flower was tiny...probably about a quarter inch in diameter. It was part of a beautiful floral arrangement, and I decided to focus on the smallest flower in it. Here you have layer upon layer of soft pick petals radiating out from an in-focus center to the soft focus of the outer petals to give it a dreamy effect. This flower looks like pom pom flowers I have seen on the internet. I'm not sure if it actually is one, or not, but that's my best guess.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
