MY HATS OFF TO YOU by Lynn Bauer - The Willow City Loop is a well traveled road in the Texas Hill Country about 17 miles outside of Fredericksburg. At one end of the drive there is a barbed wire fence with wooden posts, and somewhere along the line, people started leaving cowboy boots on the posts. I've photographed them a number of times, but this is the first time that I saw this wooden branch fenceline with baseball caps hanging on it! I guess this tradition is expanding to new areas of attire!! It is always fun to see what will pop of next! Apparently, the Willow City Loop is not just about bluebonnets and wildflowers any more!!
