LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GARDEN by Lynn Bauer - Things couldn't be more bright, or beautiful, at Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Texas. Even in fall, there are gorgeous flowers that would make you think it was spring! And, on this day, there were hundreds, if not thousands, of big, beautiful monarch butterflies flitting through the garden as they feasted on the gorgeous flowers! This area with zinnias and dahlias seemed to be their favorite, and it made for spectacular viewing! I was told that these monarchs has just been released and that they were at the start of their migration down into Mexico. What a joy to see these beauties (both the butterflies and the flowers) together!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
