INCREDIBLE BEAUTY AT DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE by Lynn Bauer - Southern California is experiencing it's second "Superbloom" in three years, after many years of drought. The wildflowers have been just gorgeous this year...and, nothing is quite as pretty as seeing those wildflowers framing a beautiful deep blue like Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet, a normally dry, arid desert community.
This group of wildflowers includes bright orange California poppies (the state flower), along with beautiful blue lupines, and tall stalks of dark blue chia.

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
