HILL COUNTRY TRANQUILITY by Lynn Bauer - One of the most peaceful and relaxing places I have ever been to...Joshua Creek Ranch in the Texas Hill Country. It is a wonderful place with something for everyone! My first visit was for a wonderful intimate dining experience with just a few other couples. But, it was the scenery that grabbed my attention and I had to go back for more! This is Joshua Creek with it's gorgeous turquoise waters as they cascade to pool below. I'm sure many kids have a blast swimming in this wonderful swimming hole during the hot summers! But, on this day, there were no swimmers...just a whole lot of beauty and peace...pure tranquility!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
