From Winter to Spring at Diamond Valley Lake Toddler T-Shirt

FROM WINTER TO SPRING AT DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE by Lynn Bauer - Southern California experienced it's second "Superbloom" in three years, after many years of drought. The wildflowers were gorgeous in 2019...and, nothing is quite as pretty as seeing those wildflowers framing a beautiful deep blue lake like Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet.
In this image, a colorful group of wildflowers, including the orange California poppies, hot pink red maids, beautiful blue lupines, and a host of others frame the foreground of the lake, while mountains, including some that are snow-capped, frame the back! It was a stunning day to spend walking around this gorgeous desert wonderland!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
