COSMOS DAYDREAM by Lynn Bauer - I almost titled this "Spring Daydream," but then I remembered that I took it in the fall!! That's the wonderful thing about Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Texas...you never know what beautiful flowers will be growing in their fields! In this case, the cosmos were going wild and the scene was gorgeous!! Bright pinks, mixed with deep magentas and whites! The butterflies were migratins through and the field was alive with color! Wildseed Farms is one of the top produceers of wildflower seeds in the country, and it is always a joy to visit them. And, because it is located in the Texas Hill Country, I am able to get there often!!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
