BURNET WILDFLOWERS by Lynn Bauer - Such beautiful wildflowers found growing along a roadside in Burnet, Texas. Burnet is a pretty little town in the Hill Country that was bursting with beautiful wildflowers along every little side road on the year that I took this image. The pretty mealy blue sage was the primary color in this area, joined by the yellow coreopsis and various others. The big billowy clouds against the turquoise skies made for the perfect spring day in the Texas Hill Country!
I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
