A view of an autumn
paradise from the
back porch (well,
technically...this is
the downstairs porch),
overlooking the hills of
North Carolina during
a beautiful sunrise.
While golden hues fill
the sky, trees of every
color light up on the far
hills and the bright greens
of the farmland below
begin to glow.
The porch starts to fill
with light and shadow
as the world around it
awakens. This is just
the beginning of another
glorious day to explore
the wonders of this beautiful
season.
Taken in Leicester, North Carolina,
during a trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Bed and Breakfast in Leicester,
North Carolina, in the outskirts
of Asheville. Fall trees, glowing
in the morning light, surround the
lodge, as lush green meadows
and houses peek out from
between more of the fall trees
below.
Grab a chair and soak in the view!
(And, definitely check out this lodge
if you plan to be in the area!! It was,
by far, our favorite stop along our
Blue Ridge Parkway trip!
The lodge is gorgeous, the
views unparalleled,
and the hosts are just wonderful!)
