The glowing yellows and golds of a beautiful aspen tree are set off by the deep blue waters and beautiful reflections in a creek in the High Sierra of California. **************************************** The High Sierra mountain range is one of the most beautiful areas in California! Springtime has it's flowing streams and waterfalls, surrounded by young wildflowers. Summer is play time for fishermen, hikers, and wildflowers enthusiasts and they are now in full bloom! Autumns are gorgeous with the turning of the leaves, and "leaf peepers" are out in full force. And, in winter...probably it's busiest season...it becomes the playground for skiiers, snowboaders, and all kinds of winter sports!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
